When I bought the apartment, Leanne was the seller’s agent   When the time came to sell the apartment, I selected her without hesitation as my agent.  My first residence is in New York City.   Given the pandemic, I was somewhat nervous about the timing and the execution of the sale.  I attest that Leanne made it a smooth experience from beginning to end. “I would not be able to wake up in my new Tolls Brothers townhouse if it was not for Leanne Hirsch. I recently retired on March 8th, and my husband eyeing the possibility of moving out of Philadelphia, suggested that we list our condo for sale. We have thought about moving within the next few years and we considered listing our unit and preparing for the hassles of open houses, showings and the massive amounts of cleaning/downsizing that I had to look forward as part of this process. I knew of Leanne from living in our building at River’s Edge and upon some advice from one of my neighbors, spoke to Leanne about listing our unit. What immediately impressed me about Leanne, was her approach. Instead of feeling pressured to list with her, Leanne’s warm demeanor put me at ease. She methodically went through our apartment and tactfully but realistically made suggestions that made sense and would help sell our home. She mentioned that she was working with some clients that wanted to live in our building and that if she was to become our agent, she would show them our unit when we made to final decision to sell. We were told previously a similar story by Realtor_____, that he had someone interested in our building.  In fact, he showed our unit and met my husband, but we never heard from him again after the showing despite my husband emailing him, so this was not a great factor in our decision to use Leanne. The point that I am making, is that we wanted Leanne to list our apartment because of her friendly, calm, honest approach. I will call her the Queen of tact when it came to her method of suggesting ways to “organize and reduce” some of my clutter, which mostly was plants, books, and stuff. Leanne was accessible and always returned our calls and emails promptly and provided hugs and ear to listen and shoulder for me to use during our brief listing. She kept us informed as to the feedback received from our two showings and counseled us thought out this process, I tend to listen to whatever suggestions Leanne made without protest because I trusted Leanne’s knowledge. She helped us with our paperwork and true to her word, sold our unit before our list date, open house or before I finished preparing my home for sale. Even though Leanne acted as a dual agent I thought she was fair and impartial to both us and the buyer. She had to do negotiations for both the price, settlement date, and givebacks from us as a result of the buyer’s walkthrough, and at the same time, she relayed our terms to the buyer. I was freak-out by the quick settlement date which we agreed to, but we were able to find and move into a new home as a result of finding a new home with a quick settlement date and the fact we didn’t need to apply for a mortgage. We are most satisfied with the services that Leanne provided us and a little sad to end our time together through this anxious, stressful process.
